Big Sandy Details

Let's go have some fun!

A group of us are going to try to get to ALERT early (at 1:00) on Wednesday to try to do the Low Ropes Course. We would love if we could get an even bigger group together so if you were not already planning to come early, we hope you will now! Excited to see whoever is going to Big Sandy soon!

"Activities to Enjoy on the ALERT Campus!

The ALERT campus offers many opportunities for FUN! Plan to arrive early on Wednesday afternoon to enjoy some of the amenities, which include:

Lakefront Access/Canoes (no swimming, please)

Note that there is a gate that does not allow cars to drive through to the lakefront, however you are welcome to park there and walk through to the lake.

Low Ropes Course (Campground)

9 Square

Disc Golf

Outdoor Volleyball

Indoor Basketball

Track and Field"

Glory to God, Melissa

Please notice in the details below that the gate locks early and a code must be used to enter the campus. Our hosts have requested that we wear sleeves at all times and dress modestly.

Also, meals are very short and will be thrown away. If you are competing during that time, you will be nowhere near being able to pick up your meal. Please request that your meals be boxed up and ask someone to go retrieve a lot of meals at once.

We're so glad you are going to be able to join us for the upcoming NCFCA Speech and Debate Tournament. Please take a moment to read through this email and preview the relevant links.

Due to some shifting circumstances, we have some space in our private room for a mom and 1 or 2 daughters. The total cost to share with us for four nights is $170. I’ve paid the total cost, so this would mean reimbursing me.

My phone is below. Please call or text, but voicemail doesn’t work well (sometimes takes days). Thanks!

Who wouldn't want to serve with these Palmers???

Hey Apollos friends!

Please join the Palmer kids at Monticello Senior Living Community (5114 McKinney Avenue · Dallas, TX 75205) to share your talents and hard work by presenting a speech for the residents to enjoy. Their activity director is a former NCFCA parent and has gotten the residents excited about hearing your amazing speeches!

We have time for 5 speeches on Tuesday April 9 from 2:00-3:00. I can help with rides for up to 3 kids if needed as long as I know in advance.

Let me know if you are available and what type of speech you would like to present. This will truly be a blessing to the residents!
