Big Sandy Needs

Perseus is considering it...

We need to help provide the following:

1)  One designated parent or family from each club is needed to help with tournament breakdown (getting rooms re-set, signs taken down, etc.) on Saturday afternoon/evening before the awards ceremony.

2)  We would love to offer a student-led worship time from 7:15 - 7:30 each morning of the tournament.  Do you known of any students who might be willing to lead this?

3)  And lastly, do you know of any parent attending Big Sandy who has photography skills?  If so, do tell! :)  We are still in need of a photographer for the tournament.

Thanks so much!

If you can do one of these, tell Mrs. Malone at malones@malonepeople.net!

Adelie and Vikki are not actually seniors. But they think it is great to pray for seniors.

Engarde Speech and Debate will be setting aside some club time through the end of the debate year to pray for Region 4 Graduating Seniors.  Additionally, some of the parents in our club will be praying outside of club time as well for these seniors.  Graduating seniors face a lot of changes over the next few months and we believe that it is important to lift these students and their requests before the Lord.

I am reaching out to you to see if you could pass the word to any seniors in your club.  We would consider it a privilege to pray for them by name.  We would also get any specific requests they may have (provision of a roommate, housing needs… wisdom in choosing between schools, wisdom in choosing whether to attend college or another option, etc.).

The students are welcome to email the requests directly to me or someone from your club can compile them and email them to me, Brent Barnett, at the following email address:

brentabarnett92@yahoo.com

I will compile the names and requests into a spreadsheet.  If your club would like the list to pray over as well, just request I send it to you when you reply and I will do so.

My goal is to have this spreadsheet compiled by April 1st.  Thanks for your help in this endeavor.
